Sink / Seep was commissioned by BBC Radio 3, and first performed by the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Ilan Volkov, at Tectonics 2025.

This piece stems from the (detuned) harmonic series in C. The first part, “Sink”, hangs breathlessly—buoyant and balanced. The second seeps out of it, suspended and still. Pockets of sound ripple and undulate as the piece permeates our listening space, unwinding and rewinding, and absorbing our ears.
